Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2 August 2026
Tilaawah is currently under development and its Quran.com API access is pending approval. This policy describes our intended practices at launch and may be updated before the service becomes publicly available.

This Privacy Policy explains how Tilaawah ("Tilaawah", "we", "us"), a product of WEBLEO, collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website and applications (the "Service").

1. Who we are

Tilaawah is a tool that lets video editors and content creators generate Qur'an ayahs with transparent backgrounds for use in their content. You can contact us at support@tilaawah.app.

2. Information we collect

  • No account needed for free use. You can browse and download ayah images without creating an account. We do not require personal information to use the free features.
  • Account information (optional). If you upgrade to a premium plan, we collect your email address to create your account. We use secure, passwordless "magic link" sign-in, so we do not store passwords.
  • Usage & device data. We may collect anonymised, aggregated technical data (such as page views, device type, and general performance metrics) to keep the Service reliable and improve it.
  • Payment data. If you purchase a premium plan, payments are processed by our third-party payment provider. We do not store your full card details on our servers.

3. How we use information

  • To provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
  • To create and manage premium accounts and process payments.
  • To communicate with you about updates, support, and launch news you request.
  • To monitor usage, prevent abuse, and improve performance and features.

4. Qur'anic content & the Quran.com API

Tilaawah sources Qur'anic text and related metadata from the Quran.com API (Quran Foundation). Our use of that content is subject to their terms. We render this text into images for you and do not alter the sacred text. Our application for Quran.com API access is currently under approval.

5. Cookies & similar technologies

We use only essential cookies and local storage needed to run the Service (for example, to keep you signed in to a premium account or remember your preferences). Any analytics we use are privacy-respecting and aggregated.

6. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with trusted service providers who help us operate the Service (such as hosting, payments, and email delivery), and only as needed to perform those services, or where required by law.

7. Data retention

We keep account information for as long as your account is active. Cached Qur'anic content from the Quran.com API is retained only as permitted by their terms. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email us at support@tilaawah.app.

9. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

10. Changes to this policy

As Tilaawah is under active development, we may update this policy before and after launch. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
