Privacy Policy

Tilaawah is a product of WEBLEO (“we”, “us”). We built Tilaawah so anyone can create transparent Qur'an ayah overlays. Privacy and data minimisation are core to how it works.

1. Anonymous by default

Browsing surahs and ayahs and downloading standard transparent PNGs require no account and no personal data. We do not require you to sign in to use the free, core features of Tilaawah.

2. What we collect

  • Account (optional): if you create an account for PRO or cross-device sync, we store only your email address.
  • Library sync (optional): for signed-in users, the ayah references you save so they appear across your devices.
  • Payments: processed by our payment provider (Polar). We never see or store your full card details.
  • Abuse prevention: we use Cloudflare Turnstile and short-lived, minimised technical signals to prevent automated abuse of our render service.
  • Diagnostics: aggregated, privacy-preserving error and performance data. Personal identifiers are redacted from logs, which are retained for a short period only.

3. What we do not do

We do not sell your data. We do not run advertising or non-essential analytics without your consent. We do not track you across other websites.

4. Cookies

We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in when you choose to log in. Optional analytics or ad cookies are set only after you consent, and you can withdraw consent at any time.

5. Your rights

You can request access to, export of, or deletion of your account data at any time by emailing support@tilaawah.app. We support GDPR and CCPA data-subject requests.

6. Data retention

Account data is kept until you delete your account. Technical logs are retained for a short window (typically up to seven days) and then discarded.

7. Children

Tilaawah is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

8. Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be posted here with a new “last updated” date.
